This notice lists every cookie and piece of browser storage 1ME Games uses on www.1me.com, what each one is for, and which ones wait for your yes. Cookies are small files a site keeps in your browser; localStorage and sessionStorage are the browser’s own storage, and we treat them the same way.
Your choices
What the site needs to work is always on (sign-in, your region and display settings, your vote). The rest waits for your yes, and you can change it here any time.
Analytics
Counts visits and page speed (Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights) and 1ME’s own clicks and searches, with an anonymous id.
Remember what’s new for you
Keeps on this device when you last looked at trailers, news and deals, so 1ME can mark what’s new since then. Off: nothing is marked new.
Steam store cards
Shows Steam’s price card on game pages without a click. Steam sets its own cookies. Off: the card waits for your click.
Always on: what the site needs
These keep sign-in working and safe, and remember things you asked for. They can’t be switched off here.

Some intros, tips and notices show once: after one has shown, a small flag in localStorage stops it repeating. Admin tools have their own cookies, used only by 1ME’s staff.
Only with your yes
These start only after you click Accept on the banner or switch them on in Your choices above. Declining, or a browser that sends Global Privacy Control, keeps them all off.

Steam store cards
On some game pages Steam’s own price card (an embed from store.steampowered.com) shows the Steam price and wishlist button. Steam sets its own cookies when it loads; see Steam’s privacy policy. Without your yes, a button loads it only when you ask.
Content from other sites
- YouTube trailers play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), which loads only when you press play. From that press, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may store data in your browser; see Google’s privacy policy. Trailer thumbnails come from 1ME’s own servers, not YouTube.
- Product and game images on some pages load from the store or catalogue that published them (Best Buy, Nintendo, Steam, IGDB, RAWG). Their servers see your IP address and browser, as with any image on the web. 1ME sets no cookies for them.
- Store links. Clicking through to a store (Green Man Gaming, Best Buy, Amazon, the Nintendo eShop and others) takes you to their site, which sets its own cookies, including the affiliate cookie that tells the store 1ME sent you. Those follow the store’s cookie notice, not this one.
- Signing in with Steam, Google, Discord or Twitch happens on their site, with their cookies.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, everything under “Only with your yes” stays off and the banner doesn’t appear.
Changing your mind
- Your choices at the top of this page change each one at any time, and the change applies at once. The footer’s Cookie choices link brings you back here from any page.
- Your browser’s settings can block or delete cookies and storage for 1me.com. Blocking the sign-in cookies stops you signing in.
